A Cumbrian Adventure: Making Hay While the Sun Shines
When I went up to visit my folks I really wasn't expecting good weather - in fact I sorely regretted not taking my linen trousers. We didn't venture out of the valley while I was there which was brilliant if I'm honest as it meant I could take the camera and go for long walks enjoying the sights. One of the highlights was the hay had just been cut, literally that morning by someone who I went to school with. If OH had been with me I couldn't have loitered to enjoyed this sight but on my own I was able to savour it all up. I especially enjoyed watching the gulls flying over the freshly cut grass. Here are my favourite pics.
