Spring colour at Kew

Whilst waiting in line to get into the Orchid Festival I took some cheeky snaps of the spring colour which was popping up everywhere which I wanted to share with you.

After drooling over the orchids I made OH wander back through the Alpine House as I love the dinky alpine flowers though on reflection I realise I needed to have something to give you some idea of scale. 

And finally we made a brief visit to the newly refurbished Temperate House.

 It was a flying visit as we had to rush back to make dinner (we hadn't factored in the 50 minute wait in line) but I did capture these magical snowball flowers. Truly magical
