The Lakes: Part One

It's November so it must mean a visit back home to see the family back home in Cumbria. The weather wasn't as fanastic as I've had in previous visits but it wasn't bad.

 The first day as you can see started off wet. During a break in the rain I went for a wander around the garden.

 The autumn colours, mixed in with the rain droplets were spectular

After lunch I braved another break in the weather to walk over to our elderly next door neighbour. 

 She lives about half a mile away and while I enjoy going to visit her I also really enjoy the walk over. 

 The beck was in full flow

 And the colours and lichen were stunning.
