Winnie the Pooh at the V&A
I've loved Winnie the Pooh for years so was delighted to learn that the V&A and was putting on an exhibition to celebrate this classic. I remember seeing some original illustrations when I was a child at the Bodleian in Oxford and they were utterly magical. Although they were stuck in a case they oused magic from the pencil strokes. But the surroundings of those drawings was very austere to a child. I was therefore delighted to see that the V&A managed the tricky balance of captivating both children and adults alike. There were numerous illustrations for the adults to enjoy but the room was filled with enchanting nooks and crannies for children to run through and around.
