Shield bug action

 OK so  this one is a little off the wall, even for me. Last Friday I took the day off to do some gardening (hopefully pics of yummy things to eat and flowers I've grown in a couple of months time) and whilst watering I realised that I had interrupted an intimate moment of not one but two pairs of mating green shield bugs.

 And I have to say it was pretty incredible. And of course I had to get the camera though sadly I only spotted the one pair once I had the camera.

  So they are back to back and literally walking up and down the leaves which means someone has to walk backwards which was hilarious. A little like the Push Me Pull Me in Dr Doolittle 

 And this was just outside my flat in the middle of Brixton. Love nature
